I traveled on the ship from the city of Darnassus, to Stormwind. I feel quite over whelmed, I have never seen so many people in one place before. They have mounts that are cats, birds, mechanical devices, and they fly! Wondrous, to fly. There are quest givers here, too, so I can continue earning coins to help me train further in the hunter’s ways.
I know to be careful, as I’ve seen many a dead elf, or human. I find that I’m depending on FeClaw more and more now. His ability to charge ahead and engage the enemy allows me the time I need to use my arrows to take it down. We have worked out a routine that so far seems to be successful; we single out the target, and attempt to pull it away from any group it is in so that we can take it down, and we hope we don’t pull the entire group.
We recently had a narrow escape, many wolves came to the rescue of the target we were attacking. I ran for my life, while FeClaws held strong, as I attempted to lose the crowd with my natural ability to shadowmeld. When I was in the clear, I ran back to my friend, and we then felled the mobs on him. Sadly, his wounds were too much for him, and he died at my feet. Rather than abandon him, I resorted to my hunter skill to revive him.
We have been reunited and look forward to moving onward out of the Stormwind outskirts, to explore the dwarven lands of Loch Moden. It will be interesting.
